The MacKenzie Art Gallery’s roots run deep in Regina. From its ambitious beginnings over 60 years ago at what is now the University of Regina, the MacKenzie evolved into an independent public, not-for-profit gallery in 1990. Reflecting the industrious spirit of Norman MacKenzie, the community raised the funds to create the stunning, state-of-the-art professional space the Gallery now calls home in the T.C. Douglas Building in the heart of Wascana Park. Today the MacKenzie is Saskatchewan's largest public art gallery and one of Canada's most beautiful. The MacKenzie features world-class exhibitions and public programs. We do more than just exhibit art, we are a hub of artistic, cultural and social energy in Saskatchewan.
The MacKenzie Art Gallery Shop features a wide selection of unique handmade items by local, national and international artisans as well as contemporary home décor and gift ware. All purchases made at the Gallery Shop support the MacKenzie's exhibitions and public programs.
